Peacocks
|
|
Today is dedicated to the colorful feathered friend the peacock.
As I was out driving around wasting time in the country the other day I spotted something in the road that looked like a descarded tire. However, as I got closer I saw that it was no tire at all, and in fact it was a huge peacock just out for a stroll. Knowing that I just HAD to take their picture I later went back. Most of the birds could care less that I was there, but there was one who liked the special attention. He stood so proud and tall with plume fully open for me to take a few shots. What a character!! There were also turkeys,pheasent,and roosters which will be coming in the next few days.
